CCSA Announces Women’s Swimmer and

Diver of the Week

 

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – North Florida’s Megan Boudreau has Women’s Swimmer of the Week, while North Florida’s Julia Moomaw has been named the CCSA Women’s Diver of the Week for meets competed Dec. 28-Jan. 3, it was announced today by the League. 

 

Boudreau, a junior from Ottawa, Ontario, posted a first-place finish and two second-place honors against a strong UNC Wilmington squad ranked No. 12 in the latest CSCAA Mid-Major Division I Swimming and Diving Poll.  She won the 200 free with a time of 1:57.75 and finished second in the 500 free touching in 5:14.98.  Boudreau also swam the second leg of the UNF 400 free relay team that earned second-place with a season-best time of 3:41.55.

 

Moomaw, a freshman from Orlando, Fla., had strong performances in both diving events for the Ospreys, posting season-bests off both the 1- and 3-meter boards against the Seahawks on Jan. 2.  She took first in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 250.79 and finished second in the 1-meter competition by just 2.02 points (229.49).  Moomaw picks up her second career CCSA Diver of the Week plaudit.
