Softball Games Rescheduled Due to Inclement Weather


GWU vs. PC Scheduled for Today Has Been Moved to Next Week

Today's softball doubleheader between the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs and the Presbyterian College Blue Hose has been cancelled due to inclement weather and will be re-scheduled for next Wednesday, April 25th, at 2:00pm

The doubleheader next week will be added to the internet video streaming schedule on the Big South Network, presented by State Farm, and can be viewed at

The Runnin' Bulldogs will return to action this Saturday and Sunday, as Gardner-Webb will host the Charleston Southern Buccaneers for a three-game conference series.  Saturday's doubleheader is slated for a 1:00pm. start, while the third and final game is scheduled for Sunday at 2:00pm.

Liberty vs. PC Games Rescheduled, LU vs. JMU Game Canceled

Due to adverse weather conditions in the forecast, multiple changes have been made to this week's schedule for Liberty softball.

Today's doubleheader between Liberty and James Madison has been canceled, with no make-up date set.

Additionally, the Lady Flames' Big South series at Presbyterian College, originally scheduled to take place on Saturday and Sunday, will now be held on Friday and Saturday. Liberty will face the Blue Hose in a doubleheader on Friday in Clinton, S.C., starting at 2:00pm. On Saturday, the Lady Flames and Blue Hose will meet at noon for the series finale.

Radford Postpones Game Against Virginia Tech

Due to the inclement weather in the area, Radford's home softball game tonight vs. Virginia Tech has been postponed. The teams will make the contest up on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:00pm.

The Highlanders hit the road this weekend for their Big South series at Winthrop. The squads will play two on Saturday at 1 p.m. and conclued with a single game on Sunday at 1:00pm.
