Winthrop Head Coach Mark Cooke
"It was a quality team win and a tribute to how hard the kids have worked the past 2 weeks. We had timely hits, executed very well and played great defense."

Liberty Head Coach Paul Wetmore
"We got an early lead, but Kat Johnson struggled for us today. We also made some mistakes that really hurt us. Late in the year, you can't make those kinds of mistakes. Winthrop outhit us and outplayed us today. We just need to regroup and take care of business."
