Big South Conference football continues this Saturday, Oct. 20 with four games. Three League contests are on the slate, including Presbyterian College at Charleston Southern in the Big South's TV "Game of the Week" on ESPN3. A printable version of this preview is available to the right and below.

THE SERIES: This is the 20th meeting between the schools. Presbyterian College leads the series, 13-6.
BLUE HOSE BANTER: The Blue Hose are looking for their second-straight win over Charleston Southern, a feat last accomplished prior to joining the Big South (2004 and 2005) ... RB LANCE BYRD has led Presbyterian in rushing all seven games, and needs 74 rushing yards to move into eighth-place on the Big South's all-time rushing list ... LB DONELLE WILLIAMS has led the Blue Hose in tackles six times and is third in the Conference with 9.6 per game ... Freshman DE BRYSON BRINDLE remains the Big South leader in sacks with 4.5.
BUCCANEER BULLETS: Charleston Southern is looking to win back-to-back Big South games for the first time since the 2009 campaign, which was also the last time the Bucs won consecutive home Conference games ... The Buccaneers are third in the Big South in rushing offense with 165.8 per game, and tied for second in allowing the fewest sacks (8) ... QB MALCOLM DIXON has thrown a touchdown pass in three consecutive games, as five of his 13 completions in that span have been for scores ... Dixon leads CSU with 196 rushing yards.

THE SERIES: This is the 10th meeting between the schools. Coastal Carolina leads the series, 7-2.
CHANTICLEER CROWS: Coastal Carolina is looking to avoid its first 0-2 Big South start since 2008 and third overall ... The Chants have won the last three meetings with VMI ... QB ARAMIS HILLARY has thrown for at least 270 yards four times this season, and needs 141 passing/rushing yards for 4,000 career total offense yards ... RB JEREMY HEIGHT, who needs 135 rushing yards for 1,000 in his career, is second in the Big South in all-purpose yards (149.7) ... KR TRE HENDERSON needs 14 kickoff return yards to become CCU's all-time leader.
KEYDET KICKS: The Keydets' last win against Coastal Carolina was in 2008, a 47-20 home victory on Oct. 11 ... CB JAMES FRUEHAN leads the Big South with 33 solo tackles and ranks fifth in overall stops per game with 7.5 ... VMI ranks third in the Conference in scoring defense, rushing defense and total defense ... RB JABARI TURNER is tied for fifth in the League with five touchdowns scored ... QB ERIC KORDENBROCK is 11th in Big South history in career completions (343), attempts (665) and passing yardage (3,560).

The Runnin' Bulldogs were the last Big South team to defeat Stony Brook inside LaValle Stadium, a 34-33 victory in 2008 ... RB JUANNE BLOUNT has scored five times this season out of the "Bulldog" formation via direct snap ... LB TANNER BURCH leads the Big South with 77 total tackles and is second nationally with 12.8 per game ... QB LUCAS BEATTY is 77-of-105 passing for 576 yards and three touchdowns in his last two games.
SEAWOLF SCOWLS: Stony Brook is looking to open 3-0 in Big South play for the third-straight year ... The Seawolves carry a 10-game home win streak as well as an 11-game home Big South win streak into Saturday's game ... RB MIGUEL MAYSONET needs 118 rushing yards to become the first player in Big South history with 4,000 in a career ... DB DOMINICK REYES needs six solo tackles to crack the League's all-time Top 10 in that category ... PK WESLEY SKIFFINGTON needs one field goal to become the fourth Big South kicker with 40.
