CHARLOTTE, N.C. Ottavio, a senior from Fairfax, Va., put in a pair of goals to lead Longwood to the 2-1win over Richmond on Aug. 24.  Her first goal of the contest came in the 64th minute as she beat the Richmond defense and keeper up the middle.  After a Spider equalizer, Ottavio collected a loose ball and beat the keeper one-on-one in the 100th minute to give the Lancers the 2-1 win.  The honor is Longwood's first-ever Big South Player of the Week award in the school's history.

Torrero, a redshirt-senior from Burbank, Calif., posted a pair of saves as Campbell tied Francis Marion 1-1 on Aug. 24.  Both saves came in the second overtime on back-to-back shots in the six yard box.  The honor is her first Big South Defensive Player of the Week selection.
