Big South Announces Five-Year Extension With The Crons Brand?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) - The Crons BrandTM, one of the fastest growing team sports apparel brands in the country, has extended its partnership with the Big South Conference and status as the League's Official Apparel and Uniform Provider.  The announcement of the new 5-year agreement, which first began in 2009, was made jointly by Big South Commissioner Kyle B. Kallander and Crons CEO and Founder Pat Cavanaugh.

"This is an exciting opportunity for The Crons Brand to be partnered with an emerging Conference like the Big South," said Cavanaugh.  "Relationships with schools like these bring credibility to the brand and I also feel that the Crons message and mentality are a good fit for the values and philosophies of the Big South Conference."

Crons will continue to be the exclusive provider of the Big South Conference Championship apparel given to the participating student-athletes.  They will provide Conference schools with its proprietary goal and character education curriculum, the Crons Goals & Adversity Training, for their student athletes.  In addition, the Big South will assist Crons in unveiling a new program, The Ultimate Walk-On Challenge.  Crons will also supply apparel for the Conference's online store with options to purchase co-branded gear.  The Crons Brand will be recognized during the League's football and basketball television and video stream packages, at all of the Conference's Olympic Sports Championships and at the VisitMyrtleBeach.com Big South Basketball Championships.
