Quotes
Coastal Carolina Head Coach Jess Dannelly
“Defense wins ball games. Our outfield hit the cut-offs and we turned three double plays.”
Charleston Southern Head Coach Jeff Aumend
“We out-hit Coastal but just couldn’t string the hits together. Long-Droppert is one of the best hitters in the League and we needed to be certain that we didn’t give her a good pitch to hit. We still like our chances. We’ve been very competitive despite our record. We’re gonna leave it out on the field.”
