The Big South football season continues this Saturday with two Conference games on the slate: No. 25 Liberty at VMI and Coastal Carolina at Gardner-Webb, which will air live on MASN and ESPN360.com, as well as tape delay on SportSouth at 7:00pm.  A printable version of this preview is available below.

• This is the seventh meeting between the schools.  The series is tied, 3-3, with SBU winning the last two meetings.
• Stony Brook is averaging 27.0 points in its last three games after averaging 14.2 points in the first six games.
• RB CONTE CUTTINO has rushed for 100 yards in three consecutive games, averaging 129.3 yards in that span.
• RB EDWIN GOWINS is averaging 8.66 yards per rush over his last 38 rushing attempts (329 total rushing yards).

THE SERIES:  This is the 16th meeting between the schools.  Presbyterian leads the series, 12-3.  It will not be an official Conference game this season.

BLUE HOSE BANTER:  The Blue Hose are coming off their 31-28 upset win of then-No. 17 Liberty last week ... Presbyterian is looking for its first win over the Buccaneers since a 42-0 victory in 2005 ... PC is also looking for its first road win of the season ... Presbyterian ranks first in the Big South with 262.2 passing yards per game ... QB BRANDON MILEY is 80-of-123 passing ( =65.0 percent) for 881 yards and five touchdowns since assuming the QB duties for the injured TIM WEBB ...
