CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) - Charleston Southern junior Amanda D'Ostroph (Whispering Pines, N.C.) has been selected the Choice Hotels Big South Women's Golfer of the Week for events played March 29-April 4, it was announced today by the Conference office.
D'Ostroph tied for second at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate (par 72, 5,810 yards) with a 5-over par 149 (76-73) to help the Buccaneers to a fourth-place standing. She moved up from fifth-place on the leaderboard to post her highest finish of the season. Her 73 in the second round was her second-best round of the 2011-12 campaign.
