CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) - Radford's Brian Gorwitz and Ashley Lounsbury have been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Men's and Women's Cross Country Runners of the Week, respectively, the League announced today.

Gorwtiz, a freshman from Yorktown, Va., finished 19th at the James Madison Invitational over the weekend with a time of 26:46 on the 7.9K course.  As a team, the Highlanders placed third overall.

Lounsbury, a freshman from Crozet, Va., led all Radford runners with a 10th-place finish at the James Madison Invitational.  She negotiated the 5.2K course in 21:03 to lead her squad to a third-place finish.
