CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) - Gardner-Webb senior Meghan Allum (Markham, Ontario) has been selected as the Choice Hotels Big South Women's Golfer of the Week for events played Oct. 4-10, it was announced today by the Conference office.

Allum posted her best finish of the fall season with a fourth-place showing at the Winthrop Intercollegiate (par 72, 5,979 yards).  She paced the Runnin' Bulldogs with a 5-over par 149 (74-75) to lead the squad to a second-place team finish.  Allum's 74 in the first round tied for the tournament low and helped her record her third Top 10 finish of the season.
