Due to technical and logistical issues, the appearance of VMI basketball's Chavis and Travis Holmes on "ESPN First Take" previously scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 15, has been postponed until late next week.  VMIKeydets.com will provide more information, including an exact interview date and time, as it becomes available.

This season, the Holmes twins have sparked VMI to its best start in 32 years, as the Keydets currently sit at 14-2 overall and lead the NCAA in scoring.  The team leads the Big South with a perfect 6-0 record, and Chavis and Travis have been keys to that success.  Chavis Holmes leads the Big South in scoring at 21.9 points per game, while his brother ranks fourth in the conference, with 18.9 points a contest.  Travis Holmes, the Conference’s all-time leader in steals, leads the Big South this year in steals per game, while Chavis ranks third in field goal percentage.

In addition, the pair is on pace to become the all-time leading scorers among twins who have played at the Division I level.  They currently rank fourth on that list, just 131 points behind the top pair.

VMI basketball returns to action Saturday, as the Keydets host Liberty in a Big South matchup, set to tip off at 1:00pm.
