CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Liberty’s Megan Frazee has been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Women’s Basketball Player of the Week, while Sydnei Moss of Coastal Carolina was tabbed New Balance Freshman of the Week, the League announced today.

Frazee, a junior for Xenia, Ohio, notched 26 points and 13 rebounds to lead Liberty to a 70-62 win over Radford on March 7.  She shot 53 percent from the floor as she connected on 10-of-19 shots and added one from downtown.  At the line, Frazee connected on 5-of-6 shots.  She also came away with five steals and dished out three assists in the win.  She has posted 11 20-point games this season and 13 games with at least 10 rebounds, as well as six games with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds.  The honor marks her sixth Player of the Week accolade this season.

Moss, a guard/forward from North Augusta, S.C., put in 13 points and corralled six rebounds to help Coastal to a 58-45 win over Charleston Southern on March 5.  She connected on 5-of-9 from the floor for a 56 percent clip and added 3-of-5 from the charity stripe and one steal.  The honor marks her second Freshman of the Week nod this season.
